The “we” of Patton Hall is simply “me”. There is no one else that works at Patton Hall, and that’s not going to change. When you call, text, or send an email, you will always have me (Pete Carril, Jr.) on the other end. No assistants, no interns, no admin. You can call me at any hour of the day, any day of the week. I take this very seriously.

I graduated from Princeton in 1981. The investment business is what I know, and all I have ever done. That is over 40 years of experience. You have to actually live through both Bull and Bear markets to acquire the skills to know how to manage them differently. You have to be personally tested by market volatility to understand the difference between conviction and insanity, to know when to retreat to the safety of cash. If you have not been personally tested under the harshest of market conditions, you should not be in this business for others.

I don’t think clients should pay extra fees to make an investment. I certainly don’t myself, and why should you? I make all investment decisions based on what is best for you, not me, not Patton Hall and no one else.

I apply the old school values taught to me by my dad, Coach Pete Carril combined with today’s financial tools set. I work hard, do my best to work smart, do my own research, ask a ton of questions, double and triple check my work, and watch your account like a hawk. It is an enormous responsibility, and I do not take it lightly.

I have a limited number of clients. That will never change. You get individual attention from me, and I will close my Firm to new investors if I cannot keep that promise to you, and to myself.
